"Perfect little house!. We really loved our stay at this house. Very clean and welcoming upon arrival. Enough room for our family of five. Great for our young kids to have everyone on one level. They also liked playing in the yard which is very well maintained. The kitchen is very well stocked which was great for us because we love to cook and prepare our own meals whenever we can while away. We were given plenty of towels for both the beach and the bathrooms. We loved having the outdoor shower after coming home from the beaches! The addition of the beach pass for the Barnstable area was an amazing bonus. We would highly recommend staying here if you want a quiet getaway on the Cape!" - Dori K., 08/19/2016 (VRBO Review)

"Lovely cottage with plenty of space. We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Very clean and well equipped and Julia was a delight to work with. She allowed us to bring our dog which was a big plus! We were there off season so didn't get to enjoy the beach but the cottage was centrally located so that we could easily drive to Provincetown or other areas of the Cape. We appreciated the privacy and the lovely yard area for our dog. Had a great meal at Viera in Harwich and really enjoyed the vietnamese restaurant in South Yarmouth (Thuan Loi)." - Dojophoto, Florida, 10/27/2015 (VRBO Review)

"Fantastic House For Our Family Vacation!. This house is well maintained and had everything we needed. The house is situated in a quiet, secluded neighborhood but it is still conveniently located close to two beaches and to the center of town with fabulous restaurants , shopping and access to the ferries for Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was spacious enough to gather as a family. The binder they left was very helpful with information on the best places and markets . We will definitely rent from Chuck and Julia again!" - Glennn M., 08/03/2015 (VRBO Review)

"Highly Recommend. This is truly an outstanding property. We visit Cape Cod almost every year and this home is definitely the best one so far. Very clean, great quality things around, well stocked kitchen, very comfortable and cozy. Love the decor... definitely will visit again for sure. The location is also really good, walking distance to the beach and very close to the main town. The owners were so helpful, gave us great information before arriving and very prompt in getting back to us. This house made our trip very memorable, we will be back again soon." - Monali G., 05/28/2015 (VRBO Review)

"Ten Stars!. If I could give ten stars for my stay in this home I would. I generally rent a home vs a hotel when I travel and I've had great experiences going this route. This home was by far the best choice ever. It was exceedingly clean ( that, for me, is the most important criteria), but aside from that this home is beyond charming with it's subtle nautical decor and shades of white and cream furnishings. Absolutely everything you need to be comfortable away from home you will find here; and everything, right down to the shower gel, is high end. In terms of location, it is perfectly situated for day trips to the many nearby beaches, the ferries to the nearby islands, and to the charming towns all over the Cape. The owners are accessible and a pleasure to work with ; I am already looking at dates to return!" - chris c., 10/21/2014 (VRBO Review)

"cape cod vacation rental. Our family of 4 (2 older teens and 2 parents) just came back from a week-long vacation at Hyannis Port Hide Away. We were completely happy with the house. It's pretty evenly situated between the beach and Hyannis Main Street. It was clean, neat and well supplied. It was especially helpful to find beach towels, chairs and umbrellas there for us to use. We didn't use the bikes, but did make use of the boogie boards in the ocean. And it was a great neighborhood for taking a daily run." - parent of teenagers, Vermont, 08/01/2014 (VRBO Review)

"Great house for our family vacation!. We loved this house! Julia was excellent at answering all of our questions leading up to our stay. We came with two kids (age 6 and 8) and our 10 month old son. The house was very baby and family friendly. There is a pack and play and high chair available which left us more room in the car, and Julia also offered to supply other baby items if needed. There was also a rocking chair in the living room which I moved to the baby's room to rock him to sleep. He was able to crawl all through the house without getting into trouble and the older kids loved their room. Beds were all very comfortable. The kids loved the chocolates left on the beds. We LOVED the outdoor shower. After each beach day, the kids went running straight to it from the car, the baby got rinsed off, and the grownups enjoyed washing up in the sunshine as well. The garage had all the items we needed for the beach, I only had to bring a beach blanket. The house was very clean and well stocked with coffee, tea, paper products, etc. The grocery store is only 5 minutes down the road. We didn't cook nearly as much as we thought we would (couldn't resist all the nearby seafood!) but the kitchen is very well equipped and all modern appliances. The binder of suggested activities was a huge help - the beaches nearby were nice, and Julia's suggestion of Mayflower Beach (30 minutes away) was our favorite! Great tide pools and sand bars for the kids to play. Hyannis is ten minutes away with lots of great seafood restaurants on the water, and Main street for little shops. We took a daytrip to Provincetown (1.5 hours away) and did a great little Pirate Adventure trip in Hyannis that the kids loved. In summary - great, cozy, well equipped house on a quiet street but close enough to all the action! It was a wonderful, relaxing, fun week and we look forward to coming back again in the future!" - Eric R., -, 07/04/2014 (VRBO Review)

Dear Jackie, it was an absolute pleasure hosting your family and talking with you throughout the reservation process and stay. We will consider ourselves privileged to welcome you again, should you return to the Cape! We do strive to make our guests lives' easier and as parents ourselves know all too well the stress of packing and carrying baby paraphernalia. (We have a young daughter and 2 young nephews, all three are 6 and under and they have been summering on the Cape all their young lives, and so we hauled everything under the sun, from baby gates to baby tubs). Now in addition to stock items like pack'n'play and high chair, I am more than happy to drop off other items for guests' use, or in case of a larger item like a wooden crib, help them rent it and have it set up before arrival. We also welcome suggestions from guests as to what family friendly items to stock and put guests' ideas in place at the beginning of the season. So happy that you enjoyed your stay, found central and quiet location suitable and our home very comfortable. There is no better reward for owners to hear that the guests were happy while in residence and the long awaited vacation was a great success.

"Hyannisport Hideaway an absolute DREAM!!. My boyfriend and I recently returned from our week long vacation at the Hyannisport Hideaway. This was one of the best vacation rentals we've ever experienced. The home included EVERYTHING we could possibly think of (pots/pans/hairdryer/iron/ample towels/grill/patio seating/bikes/beach chairs - you need it, they have it!). The beds are comfortable, the shower water pressure is great, the bathroom situation is completely accommodating and it had plenty of space for everything we needed. When staying at this house you get more than what you expect in terms of comfort. It is a comfortable location between the beach and downtown Hyannis; a perfect spot to bike ride to both attractions. Aside from the house amenities, the responsiveness of the owner, Julia, was amazing. I emailed her a question on a Tuesday morning and she got back to me within 3 minutes - THREE MINUTES!! It was the fastest and most helpful experience I've had. Having the piece of mind that the owner stands behind her property is very comforting and pair that with the comfort of the home and you have a perfect vacation. I would DEFINITELY return to the Hyannisport Hideaway. My only wish is that I was still there enjoying myself!!" - Julie, North Andover, MA, USA, 06/30/2014 (VRBO Review)

"Great rental, great communications, well stocked. We stayed in this rental early April (over the easter break). I found email communications with the owner to be superb - We were kept well informed all the way leading up to and during the rental. The rental itself was well stocked - plenty of extras like tea, coffee, spices, paper towels etc. The location was great - quiet, but close to the beaches and Hyannis. The stay exceeded our expectations" - Martin F., 06/29/2014 (VRBO Review)

Dear Lori and family, thank you very much for choosing our home for your Cape getaway! It was a pleasure to have you as our guests. I am thrilled to hear you loved your stay - we try our best to make our guests comfortable and their enjoyment of the property and the area is our first priority. So it is very rewarding to hear that the guests had a great time! We just replaced our outdoor shower with a new one this year - I am glad you were able to christen it, so to speak. We love having breakfast on the porch overlooking the yard - it is so quiet, peaceful and secluded, that it starts the day just right. And I am on a hunt for a new hammock for the yard - there is just a perfect spot for, behind the little shrubbery. Hope the rest of the summer goes well for you!

The owners were wonderful to deal with and very quick to respond to any questions about the area, house etc. I would highly recommend this property for your next vacation! We will be back to enjoy the beaches in the summer months! Diane and Chris Boyd" - Diane B., Toronto, Ontario, Canada, 12/04/2013 (VRBO Review)

"Hyannisport Hideaway, Hyannisport, MA (cape cod). Hyannisport Hideaway is a great vacation home. I was there with my family for a long weekend the end of September. The house is great, a well appointed kitchen/dining area. A comfy family room and 3 good size bedrooms. The house is well maintained and very clean, immaculate is a better description. It's in a convenient location to the beach and downtown Hyannis/Hyannisport. We took a day trip to the National Seashore too. The owners are very responsive, answering any questions promptly. I highly recommend this vacation home and would gladly return." - debra m., 10/02/2013 (VRBO Review)

"Hyannisport holiday home. As visitors from the UK, we spent a very happy and relaxed 10 days in this holiday home. We found it well presented, comfortable and well equipped. The location is both secluded and quiet, being a few minutes from beaches and close enough to the centre of Hyannisport to make it easy for shopping, restaurants and access to the ferries for Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard. Hyannis is a great location for visiting the main places of interest in Cape Cod, being equidistant from Provincetown and the mainland. The house was equipped with everything needed to make one feel fully at home, and we look forward to coming back one day." - Richard, Canterbury, UK, 09/22/2013 (VRBO Review)

"A Perfect Place to relax!. Our stay at Hyannisport Hideaway was absolutely perfect. The house was very clean, very updated and most importantly very comfortable. Everything was available - beach stuff, grill, NESN for Red Sox games, great kitchen for cooking. The back deck was the best place for an afternoon nap or just to sit in total, peaceful tranquility. Everything Hyannis had to offer was 5-10 minutes away and we even made it up to Boston for a day trip (1.5 hours). Thank you Julia for everything and for having such a perfect place for me, my wife and our two year-old daughter to vacation and enjoy some quality family time." - Eric R., 09/07/2013 (VRBO Review)

"Hyannisport Hideaway is a Gem!. My husband and I just returned from a wonderful 2-week stay at Hyannisport Hideaway. It is the first time that we rented a home, & we were a little nervous about it. But from the moment we drove up the driveway, we LOVED the house. Julia thought of everything. We arrived & felt at home immediately. There are so many little touches that Julia thought of – down to leaving chocolates on the beds when we arrived – that really made our arrival special. The house had everything we needed and much more. The kitchen was fabulous – with a big icemaker in the freezer for the cooler on wheels for trips to the beach. The kitchen was extremely spacious kitchen with top of the line appliances and a great breakfast bar. Of course, there was everything we needed when we first arrived – coffee, coffee filters, tea, sugar, salt, pepper, paper towels, Dishwasher & dishwashing liquid, soap, etc. There were beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, beach noodles, lots of floats and toys for kids; & 2 bicycles with helmets. The back deck off of the living room was great. The backyard was large & very private. Even included a big clothesline and an outdoor shower with hot water. The deck had a table with an umbrella, & a great grill. They even keep an extra tank of propane in the garage. The living room had everything we needed, including satellite TV, a helpful three-ring binder with tons of information including all of the channels. There was a Blue Ray DVD player, and comfortable couches and chairs. The bedroom closets had tons of clothes hangers & comfy sheets and mattresses. I used the great washer and dryer in the laundry room/bathroom every day. What a pleasure to come home with no laundry! Clothes detergent, bleach, & clothespins for the clothesline were provided. The location was AMAZING! We were minutes from the ferries to Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket, great restaurants, & beautiful beaches, including Covell’s Beach, the lovely resident-only beach that we could go to with the Resident Parking permit provided. We even were minutes from the beautiful Cape Cod Hospital, which unfortunately my husband needed for a few days. Julia was a very big part of our great vacation. I had a few questions for her while I was at the house and she responded immediately. It was a pleasure to do business with her before, during, & after our trip! We just retuned three days ago & have already reserved our 2-week stay for next summer. I guess that says it all!" - Barbara P., 08/13/2013 (VRBO Review)

"Great stay. With a family of four with two teenage boys we stayed for one week at this lovely and most enjoyable cottage with its very nice and spacious garden in close proximity to the beach. We would have bought the place right away had anyone offered it to us! We felt at home right from the beginning. Everyone of us had enough space and could enjoy himself at his best. The kitchen was so well equiped that we even cooked a lot, especially the great seafood you can buy in Hyannisport. We would love to come back any time." - Nature lovers, Hamburg, Germany, 07/10/2013 (VRBO Review)

"Mama's Dream. My dream vacation finally came true this June 15-23, 2013. My husband and our two son's ages, 24 and 26 had a grand time in Hyannis Port at this beautiful property. Working with Julia was easy because she made all of my transactions smooth. She is a bright (and beautiful) business woman for sure, and she is also very warm and helpful. She led me to some of the best restaurant's on Cape Cod. From this property I was able to walk to nearby Craigsville Beach while the men played golf. We made our way to dinner in Sandwich, and shopped in Provincetown. You can surely see the entire Cape in a week or less. The boy's enjoyed their game at Hyannis Golf Course,( a public course) bragging of the well kept greens and friendly people. They even payed less for 18 holes before 9AM. What you see is what you get at this property. I could go on all day about the fish we caught while deep sea fishing, but I won't. The crew of young people were some of the friendliest I had ever met. I will be back someday to experience the fall color. And when I plan I'll be calling Julia. Thank you Julia and Chuck. "Perfect Girl's Week. We loved the quiet convenient location and super cleanliness of this cozy Cape Cod house. All appliances plus the gas grill are new as well as the flat screen HDTV in living room. Our hosts left plenty of basic supplies for bath and kitchen as well as fresh ground coffee! Very thoughtful. Main Street and Craigville beach are only a few minutes away making this a convenient location, but we enjoyed taking the scenic shore roads to Hyannis as well as Osterville and avoiding the traffic. Since our visit was "off season" and a bit cold, we spent a great deal of time sitting in the sun on the deck rather than the beach. Watching fledgling baby birds and their parents became a favorite pastime as well as just reading in the sun. We rented this home for a blissful ten days and managed to find a different restaurant to eat at almost every day within a 10 minute drive. Once you learn the twists and turns of the local roads, getting around is easy.........easier still with the GPS but way more fun on your own. We discovered some interesting places by getting lost. Although "we girls" are both Grandmas, I think this would be a great house for children too.The backyard is very large and private. Thank you for a Great vacation experience." - the "Girls", Nantucket, MA, 05/25/2013 (VRBO Review)

"Don't miss it !. A wonderful stay in a very cosy and pretty house which let you feel really at home ! We particularly appreciated a very well provided and furnished house, from the bedrooms, the bathroom to the kitchen and garden items. Very convenient when you come from a far away country as ours (France). Eveything was also perfectly clean and you can find a very useful book in the kitchen providing a lot of informations about the house and its surroundings. Being French, we also greatly appreciated the avaibility of the owner by mail before arriving. Don't hesitate if you want to spend a nice stay in Hyannis !" - Nanou, Paris - France, 08/24/2012 (VRBO Review)

Dear Anne, It was our pleasure to welcome you as our guests and many thanks for your kind words.

"Perfect family holiday destination. My wife, myself and our two children (both under 5) stayed in the Hyannisport Hideaway in July this year. The house is perfectly located a few mins from the beach, supermarket and downtown Hyannis. It's spacious, furnished to a high standard, with a great kitchen and a lovely garden which the kids spent lots of time playing in. I'd thoroughly recommend staying here." - Paul, London, UK , 09/23/2011 (VRBO Review)

"Great time in Hyannis Port. Julia, I can't express my gratitude for letting us stay in you home during the week of August 20-August 27. My family and I loved everything about the home. The home had everything that we needed for the week, from beach towels, boogie boards, bicycles, cleaning detergents to the loaded spice rack and condiments. The home was located very close to the beach which was a plus for our family and was well kept. The only thing regret I have is that I didn't stay another week; howevver, we will be back next year. Thanks again!" - Osc, Kearny, NJ, 08/29/2011 (VRBO Review)

Dear Oscar, Thank you again for choosing Hyannisport Hideaway and for your kind words. We are so glad you enjoyed your time on the Cape and found our home comfortable. Looking forward to welcoming your family again. Regards, Julia.

"This is a truly great pro.... This is a truly great property. We stayed here in late April with our 2 kids, and had plenty of room to run (and hide). The back yard was big with plenty of room to play and tire the kiddos out. I particularly loved the kitchen, with all new appliances, and plenty of room to work in. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms mean no lines and that everyone has there own space. There were so many things that were there to make our stay so much more enjoyable (beach pass, ferry schedule, a plethora of area restaurant menus etc)We had a great time and definately would stay here again and again. PS....there were beach chairs and beach toys in the garage (a BIG plus if you['re traveling with kids and limiited cargo space....)" - the Ziegners, -, 05/05/2010 (VRBO Review)

It was very cosy, clean and had everything you would need for your stay. It's in a very quiet, secluded area, with a private back yard, yet it was centrally located to all the activities we had planned during our vacation. And the air conditioning was a definite plus. I would not hesitate to recommend this house to friends and family and hope to make a return visit soon." - wendy K., Embrun, Ontario, 09/22/2009 (VRBO Review)

The property is lovely and even better than the description and the whole booking process was handled very efficiently - my breakage deposit was returned within a week. The owners have thought of everything to make their property a real home from home- coffe, tea washing up liquid was all there. We particularly appreciated the beach pass which allowed us to park at many local private beaches. We would thoroughly recommend Hyannis Port Hideaway for a holiday." - Fiona, Sam, Jon, Emily and Amy, Surrey, UK, 08/24/2009 (VRBO Review)

"What a fantastic hoilday .... What a fantastic hoilday on Cape Cod!!My fiance and I stayed at Hyannis Port Hideaway 23 May - 6 June 2009. We found the house extremely welcoming, cosy and clean. All needs were catered for, and we especially appreciated the clean sheets and towels as not all vacation homes offer this - and as we are from Scotland, this saved a lot of space in our suitcase!! Also, the laundry washer and dryer (and detergent provided!) came in very handy indeed. Another favourite was the well stocked kitchen - we ate all our meals in here as it was so bright and cosy. We also had some lovely bike rides (on the bikes provided) to Craigville beach which is only a few minutes away (there are quite a few beaches nearby). I could go on and on... I would thoroughly recommend this house, and we will most definitely go back!!" - Karen & Fin, Edinburgh, Scotland, 06/10/2009 (VRBO Review)

"My husband and I and our .... My husband and I and our two young childrend stayed almost a week at the Hyannisport Hideaway this spring. Our children felt at home instantly, as did we, and we were plesasantly surprised at how well-kept the whole place was. We have never seen a better-stocked kitchen, where we ate most of our meals, and we appreciated the attention to detail throughout the entire house! Our children were delighted with the chocolates left on the pillows and we adults were delighted with the cleanliness and brightness of the place. On top of that, all of our interactions with the owners have been pleasant and made us feel welcome. The house is also conveniently located to downtown Hyannis and several beaches. We highly recommend it to all!" - Love Truro, Brookline, MA, USA, 05/06/2009 (VRBO Review)
