"Smartly furnished, scrupulously clean, and ideally located, I was actually kind of astonished that such accommodations existed in downtown Seattle. As an attorney who has been visiting Seattle on business for many years- and a former fixture at the Grand Hyatt- I found the amenities offered to be not quite so lavish as at a luxury hotel, but still very stylish and- most importantly- very clean and possessed of that “un-lived-in” quality that is the primary motive behind my normal habit of staying in finer hotels. Alas, my usual place was booked, which turned out to be a blessing. Although the furniture is bit more IKEA than Le Corbusier, I found it generally charming and more than adequate. The sitting room and kitchen are small-ish, but the two bathrooms are not, which I felt a worthy trade. And with a location so near the harbor, across the street from the Seattle Arts Museam, and with some of my favorite live-music venues only a few blocks away, I will definitely make a point of staying here again. Regardless of your level of fussiness, I believe that you will be comfortable and satisfied with this Harbor Steps property, and I give it my unqualified endorsement."
