"Mike and Cindy, Thanks for letting us be the last visitors to the cottage for 2005! The weather was cloudy, rainy, and windy, but we had a wonderful time!! The fall colors are extraordinary, and I don’t think we even caught them at their peak. We took advantage of all your well-organized information, as well as recommendations from previous visitors and experienced the best of the area. The audio tour CD was a perfect addition to our trip to that spectacular national park. For future fall visitors, the town of Jonesport shuts down really early, so plan on an early “supper” in town! Also, for a breathtaking route through fall colors, take Hyw 191 between Baring and Machias. It’s also a shorter route from here to Calais than taking Route 1. You have a great place – thank you!
