"Dear Lauren, We would like to first say thank you for making My Island Cottage available for us at the last moment. when we arrived on Friday night (4/30/2010) we all were tired and ready to settle down for the night. when we arrived at My twin Arbors we were a little disappointed. We thought the house connected where we all could be together, but it was actually seperated which meant we would be seperated...which was not good. Also, the house was too small to accomodate 7 of us. When i called and i didn't hear from you right away, i was so worried that we would be stuck and uncomfortable for the entire weekend. When you did return my call i was so happy that you were able to move us into My Island Cottage. This house is very nice and spacious for all of us. We were able to be altogether. We are a very small church group and we have very close family ties, so it was so impportant for us to stay together. This was also the Activities Committee's retreat and we really needed for it to be nice and Lauren helped us with that! The only things we found that were a little not so nice were the five beds in the "Rec" Room. We tried to have a movie night in there on Saturday night, but it was impossible because the beds were so uncomfortable to sleep on or lay on. also the furnishings were really old so maybe it's time for an update. It would also be nice to have a storm door for the front door. Overall we enjoyed our stay and thank you again for helping to make our retreat a great one...we will come back again! Mt.
