The Marina is fully operational, and has boat slips available for yachts up to 150 feet. The charming canals that are along the Marina will take you back to 17th-century Venice. For your convenience, mini-steamboats will whisk you to wherever you wish to go and they are also called vaporettos like their Italian counterpart. "Although we have travelled to Punta Cana before, this was the first time that we had rented a condo instead of staying in a resort. This rental experience was wonderful from beginning to end. The owner is a wonderful woman and went above and beyond to ensure that our holiday experience would be great. She gave great suggestions for things to do and see while in Cap Cana, she arranged for a fantastic maid/cook to help us, and was readily available during our vacation to answer any questions. She even arranged for her friend to come by and check in with us to ensure that we were settled and were aware of all that Cap Cana had to offer. Her customer service was fantastic. The condo was nicely decorated, very spacious for our family of four (2 kids under 4 years) and had everything we needed in order to enjoy our time there. We felt very at home here. We were so pleased that the posted pictures were very accurate, in fact, we felt that the property was even better in person. We were in close proximity to restaurants and shops both within Cap Cana, and Punta Cana itself. Cap Cana itself was wonderful and was the perfect location for our vacation. During our 10 day stay we were able to enjoy all of the lovely pools and beaches within the Aquamarina, as well as the Caleton Beach Club, the amazing Punta Espada Golf Course and Juanilo Beach. We even went to the Hoya Azul - Blue Hole to enjoy a hike and a swim. Some days we felt like we had the entire property to ourselves. It was wonderfully peaceful and a pleasant change from staying in a crowded resort. Both our family and the other family we were travelling with had a spectacular time. It was very hard to leave after such a great trip. The vast property at Cap Cana is spectacular and is sure to get even better with time. As was suggested to us, we rented a car and are glad we did. There is so much to see and do here that the car just made everything more convenient. We will definately recommend this particular property and Cap Cana to our friends and family.
