Additional Rate Details and Rental Terms

Above listed rates is for up to 8 Guests, (adults or children).

Additional guests are $20 per guest per night.

Day Visitors, are $7/Day Visitor/Day. This includes full use of the facility including additional full set of towels as if they were an overnight guest, however, are limited to day use only, between the hours of 8 am and 10 pm.

Set-up fee Services and pre-sanitization service is $450.00 - 500.00 (Seasonal drought restrictions), Damage Waiver Fee $80. Meet & Greet Fee $50.00.

Rate variations may include surcharges for breaking up week-ends or for stays less than Minimum Stay mentioned above for the dates of inquiry.

Cleaning and repairs fee will be deducted from deposit.

Lowest weekly rate discount only applies for stays arriving and departing on Sundays and occasionally in mid to low seasons on Fridays

Damage deposit of $1000.00 - $2000.

*Summer Daily Rate: Please check our calendar for availability and inquire within 30 days of the date you plan to arrive for shorter stays than 5 nights.

There is 11% tax on all rates and fees.

Pet charge is $100 per stay, and an additional pet charge of $35 per additional pet per stay for no more that 3 pets. Pet owners must bring clean thick blankets to cover furniture and a kennel for their dog. Other additional rules apply.

Cancellations must be received as soon as possible by US Mail to allow owner to start re-booking process. Sorry no refunds on any payment that has been made with the exception of the Damage Waiver Fee if it is cancelled within 30 days of the arrival date.

We strongly recommend purchasing travelers insurance with a company of your choice immediately after receiving confirmation of each one of your reservations, i.e, accommodations, flights, (medical insurance, if you are traveling in from another country) and car.

Owner reserves the right to cancel the rental booking for unforeseen circumstances prior to 30 days of arrival and all monies will be refunded.

This is a large house, is our personal home and not a commercial hotel. Therefore, we will request copies of your Legal ID and a copy of your insurance declaration page of your homeowners/apartment renters insurance policy with us added as additional insured, if you are less than 36 years old . For more information, inquire with your insurance agent and they should be able to arrange this at no extra charge or consequence.

You can clearly hear the ocean waves at night.... The beach is no more than a 45 second walk away from the front door and you can see the Santa Cruz Wharf and the Light House at Steamers Lane through the windows! The property described in the owners review was accurate but there's so much more, auto security gates and auto garage doors for perfect off road very private parking, too much to list. Quiet neighborhood was also nice. The house was spotless and the yards beautiful. The owner happened to be there when I arrived and was very nice and very pleasant and there are several contact numbers in case we needed anything additional, we didn't and the house was supplied with everything you would expect, bring your own clothes and food and you will be good to go. We would all agree that this is a wonderful home and would highly recommend this home to anyone wanting a spacious place to stay in Santa Cruz. I went with my Mom, Sister and her hubby, my Son and his wife and 3 of my Grand Kids and there was still room to get off to yourself if you needed to (I didn't need to as a family we get along wonderfully! : ) We went to Phils Fish Market (Moss Landing, about a half hour away to the south) for the worlds best Halibut Fish and Chips then off to the 17 Mile drive in Monterey. You will see Pebble Beach and Spy Glass golf courses while there as well as my favorite, The Ghost Tree, actually it is the HUGE old stone house across the street that I adore the most on the "drive". If you go do NOT miss the artichokes in Castroville, buy them raw and take them home, nothing like store bought!, much more tender and flavorful than the store bought ones. Shadowbrook Restaurant is the best but don't miss the Crow's Nest for it's ambiance. No... I do not know the owner and I am only being honest here, if you like the ocean I highly recommend staying in Santa Cruz especially in Feb/Mar and Oct/Nov for some beautiful weather. It rained and poured a few times but the two fireplaces upstairs made it seem dreamlike... the sun was shining most of the time... B
