"Paul and Ann's Lake Forest home was wonderful and exceeded our expectations. It's a spacious home and each room is cozier than the next--there was 7 of us and we felt like there was plenty of space. The decor is classic lake home with shelves of books, movies, and nicknacks that are interesting to look at. The house was clean and smelled fresh. The lake views were beautiful, especially after the Thanksgiving snowstorm came through and knocked out power through the weekend. Paul had his electrician out right away to get his generator started so we were powered back up except for the oven, which made for a fun challenge to get Thanksgiving dinner on the table. We cooked our turkey on the grill -- it was one of the best we'd ever tasted -- the dressing in the crockpot -- and everything else on the wood burning stove. We all loved it and the whole experience made for a wonderfully memorable Thanksgiving. We enjoyed the ping pong table in the basement and long walks around the neighborhood. It's in a very beautiful area. Keene and Brattleboro are close by and interesting towns to explore. I think everyone in our group left something at the house and Paul and Ann were extra sweet to get things back to us (thank you!) We hope to be back again some day and highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a vacation lake cabin."
