"We had an incredibly wonderful and relaxing vacation at the Harris' lake home. Even though it was cool and/or rained for three days, it gave us time to enjoy the stock and variety of DVD's and books. Loved being right on the lake and especially the lake view! Coming from the city, it was wonderful to just sit in the peacefulness and truly comfortable home. We loved going out on the lake in the rowboat on our last day. It was also great to be able to go down to the main street library and check email. Having a crib was great for our infant (and nice that we didn't have to lug one from CA). For some reason, we also enjoyed cooking while there--I'm thinking it was because we had more time and the beautiful kitchen inspired us. Again, all the little extras such as coffee, detergent, sugar, free long distance and fishing bait, made our stay more comfortable and convenient. We really felt welcomed and cared for by the Harris'. You could tell that they weren't just trying to make money, but also really enjoy having others use their vacation home. I just wish we were closer so that we could rent their home more often."
