"The main floor is designed to face the sound with windows making up the entire wall. My family couldn't get over the view! And all the natural light! We watched 3 seals frolicking in the bay and had a campfire. The kitchen was well stocked which was great because the house is 50 minutes from a grocery store and restaurants. We fixed our meals the entire weekend, enjoying coffee and tea in the morning on the deck and a glass of wine in the evening. Staying at a house instead of a rustic cabin is a joy because the house warmed up quickly when we arrived and our group could do activities without bothering each other. One time someone stayed up late watching a movie; another time a family member visiting for an afternoon, took a baby downstairs for a quiet, quick nap. The houses on both sides were vacant for our weekend so very private and quiet. We would definitely come back! One note-the fireplace is electric. It provides heat and ambiance but the front is not hot which is a nice safety feature especially if you have little ones."
