"The house looked just like it did in the pictures, with cozy beach style and lots of great light from all the windows. We appreciated the house being well kept up and the ease of working with the Wrens in renting the house. Also, liked being a few steps away from the beach and hearing the ocean waves come to shore. Neat to see the various birds fly out to the ocean in the morning and then back toward land in the evening. "What a treasure! The home is immaculate. There is a care here unlike most, to provide an atmosphere of home, each detail designed to ensure a relaxed, home-like environment,all the while overlooking the ocean. The beds with down comforters, fluffy pillows, plenty of blankets, towels, well equipped kitchen and beach necessities-chairs/toys/umbrellas. The deck has a wonderful table and chairs/loungers to allow a wonderful meal overlooking the ocean. The opportunities in nearby St. Augustine and Ponte Vedra, leave endless opportunities for fine dinners, both elegant(Ruth Chris) to family fun(Bogey's,Harry's etc..) The horse/buggy ride in St Augustine was wonderful, even as "locals" we learned so much. The pictures do not do the home full justice, it is even better in person! We were so grateful to have spent our week there.  "We were fortunate to stay at Sandpiper’s Nest the week of Feb 5. As expected during this ‘quiet time’, it was cool, yet wonderful. The house is every bit as comfortable and charmingly outfitted as it appears in pictures. The location was perfect for us, about 15 minutes north of historic St Augustine yet with miles of quiet beach (at least in early Feb) just off the back deck.
