"Our stay in Kauai was awesome and staying at the Bird of Paradise Home made it even better! The home was more than accomdating for our group of 8. The lovely home was extremely clean and stocked with all we needed. Having the local soaps & lotions was a nice touch! Our 19 year olds & guys liked the basket of used sunscreens..We only brought 30+ and they wanted 15-. The kitchen had enough pots & pans to handle cooking for our big eaters. We made two trips to Cost Co! It did take us a day to locate the correct swimming pool and the 19 year olds (boys) were told they could not swim at the Hyatt :). They discovered the locals hang out at the beach in front of the Sheraton so of course they forgot all about the Hyatt! The location of the home was very convenient for walking to the beach, pool, shopping, restaurants and of course beautiful hiking trails. We highly recommend ATV riding with Kipu Ranch Adventures and Zip lining with Princeville Adventures. You have to eat at Dukes and Keokee's, plus you can't leave the Island without at least one Puka Dog. The Lu'au at the Hyatt was fantastic. And last but not least, I think between all of us we tried every flavor and combination of Shaved Ice (get the ice cream on the bottom). All of us want to come back!
