"The home was perfect! I am a travel agent and have done my fair share of touring resorts and looking for an upside and/or downside to resort vacationing. With that said, we did drive by the house twice since we didn't see the house number from the road and it has a shared driveway entrance with the house next door. BUT once we got there, it exceeded my expectations. First and foremost it was very clean and well stocked of necessities for any beach activity including beach towels, water shoes, beach chairs and snorkel gear to name a few. The house is well positioned for a short walk to any of the 3 beaches. The bedrooms were very spacious with comfortable beds (except the twins.....they might have waterproof mattress pads since it appears to be a kids room) and flat screen TV's in all. The kitchen had all the necessities for cooking/dining but THE VIEW from the living area!!!! My gosh! It is grand! The pool was well maintained and we used it often. I cannot say enough about the house and the owner. My emails and questions were answered promptly and my security deposited refunded back to me as I sat on my flight home. I highly recommend this property. My family (all adults at this point) had an amazing visit to Kauai while staying at The Bird of Paradise Home and we are looking forward to a return trip. The added bonus is the house concierge and house manager. The concierge pre booked our tours and did my grocery shopping prior to our arrival. Yes, there is a fee attached to the shopping but considering I didn't want to arrive after a long flight , pick up the car rental, drive 30 minutes to unpack our luggage and then go back to Safeway to do my hour worth of grocery shopping. This was vacation and I wanted to start it as soon as my feet it the ground. The house manager came our first night and gave us some valuable touring information that we utilized the very next day. You can't go wrong with this property."
