Ning is very thoughtful and the house is fully stocked and the location is superb. We had our two kids and a set of grandparents and it was perfect. "We booked the Hawaiian Hibiscus Home months in advance (recommended). We are so happy that we did because it looks like the dates fill fast! Once we arrived I realized why! The home is very large and it was PERFECT, we were traveling with our two kids (8 and 13) as well as my sister, her spouse and daughter (age 14). We had more than enough room, in fact everyone enjoyed some down time in separate areas of the house. My husband loved the sunroom, the kids loved the pool, I spent some quiet time in the master suite (nice and cool a/c)... The kitchen was well equipped and we loved having coffee each morning to sound of tropical birds in the garden. Great location, so close to shopping, restaurants and the beach!! We all LOVED the pool, it was a perfect way to cool off in the warm Poipu sun! The only negative was that the livingroom gets uncomfortably warm in the evening. The a/c is only in two of the 5 bedrooms, so we would seek relief in the evenings in the two bedrooms or pool. It did not hinder our enjoyment and we understand that most homes on Kauai do not have a/c. But a more powerful ceiling fan or window fan would provide some relief in the evenings. "My family and I had the priviledge of staying in the Hawaiian Hibicus Home at Poipu Beach from April 11th 2010 until April 18th, 2010. The home has every amenity of my home and more. It was spacious, clean and tranquil. My family of ten had no problems hanging out together or spending time away from each other. The neighborhood is very appealing to the eye and all properties are well kept. The neighbors and the people of Kauai are very friendly and eager to help if needed. The guest information book found inside the home is full of lots of information for visitors to Kauai. Trust me, READ the book! It will save you time when you are planning your day. "We visited this lovely home with two couples in early April and must say we were impressed and very satisfied. A great place with lots of room, in a very good location, with lots of extra's for guests. "Aloha Ning, Very pleased with our holiday, though we saw our fair share of rain. We explored as much of the island as we could and put 1350 miles on the rental van during our stay. The home lived up to its billing and was more than spacious enough for all 8 of us to enjoy and not get in each other's way. The evening breezes were so nice as they blew through the property. We couldn't drag the kids out of the pool! The bikes were fantastic and the kids used them every day to ride around the loop so having them was really appreciated. I added a few (of the more than 1400) photos I took. We'd love to return. Bill was very accommodating. The phone was down and he got that taken care of without us having to be around. We did not do half of the things on the island that we wanted to but we did see some very special places and even went to the Smith Luau.
