Our Town home at Mauna Lani
After a day at the resort or roaming the Big Island, relax in our two bedroom, two full bath, town home. Unit #301 is perfect for those wanting privacy with an upstairs master suite (King bed and adjoining master bathroom) and a completely private bedroom on the main floor (King bed and adjacent bathroom).
The well-appointed kitchen will please any holiday chef. It even includes an espresso machine so you can make your personal latte. Our private lanai/porch is perfect for an evening meal prepared on your own Viking propane BBQ and outdoor prep center. For your media needs, the unit includes 3 flat screen TV's with cable, a DVD player, MP3/Ipod stereo system and complimentary laptop with wireless internet. There is also a full size washer and dryer for your convenience.
The Fairways complex offers a superb pool and fitness centre that is only a few mintues walk from the unit. The pool has a wading pool for kids and a large hot spa.
Mauna Lani Resort
This is a special place that was a royal resort in ancient Hawaiian times. This paradise of swaying palms and lush tropical vegetation set in an exotic volcanic landscape was a place where the ali'i could rest and restore their bodies, hearts, minds and spirits. "The fairways community was nice and quiet and clean. The condo had just about everything we needed to feel at home on our vacation. The use of the body boards and bikes was such a nice addition. The pool and hot tub were very clean and inviting. Jessica made it very easy to communicate during our stay when we had questions or concerns. Only a couple minor drawbacks. We felt housekeeping could have done a better job having the townhome cleaned. The mirrors and faucets in the master were not clean. The shower drain in the master needed to be cleaned out from soap, hair and sand from prior use as it was clogging and pooling water during showers. The floors could have been swept or vacuumed better as there was some debris and cobwebs in and around the kitchen. Nothing that would have ruined our stay by any means but better attention to detail by housekeeping would be a bonus. However all the linens were clean, beds super comfortable, all furniture was in great condition and the handyman was a crack up! Super nice guy! Overall we would definitely stay here again. Thank you!"
