"We had a vacation in Kona for 5 nights; really loved the location and the ground of Mauna Lani. The private beach club was wonderful; there are cabanas and lounge chairs on the beach; and it was never too crowded for us. We also had some excellent lunches in the restaurant there; and the snorkeling just off the beach was fantastic. We brought our own snorkeling gears but should you need to borrow, there are gears and fins in the unit. This unit is absolutely well stocked and very functional. There are various kitchen appliances and utensil, as well as condiments and basic items like oils, sugar, salt, flour, spices, coffee, creamer, pasta, etc, to make breakfast or any meal; we felt like we were at home. The outdoor grill on the patio was convenient and easy to use. We liked the area so much that we rode the bikes to the state beach park north of there, and brought the fold-able beach chairs to watch the sunset. The owners Jessi and Ken thought of everything, and they were very responsive when we needed assistance. We had a nice and fun experience, and would definitely love to go back in the future."
