"It pretty much doesn't get any better than this for a family or group stay in Stowe. Location was great, with nice scenery, and close-by restaurants, bars, and shops, many even within walking distance if you feel like taking a stroll. The size of the resort was perfect, with separate bedrooms for privacy, and a nice enclosed porch out back. Lots of board games and DVDs to keep you occupied if you want to change it up and spend a quiet evening in. Everything was updated, clean, and well-maintained, and the staff was all extremely friendly, helpful, and responsive, in person and via email. I often stay in Stowe as a hub when traveling solo to VT, but this time, with the wife and 19-mo-old along, this was a completely ideal situation. As a craft beer enthusiast, there are many good places to check out nearby, and every time I visit it seems like there's something new popping up. My recommendation this time around is The Bench, a couple miles up the road...pretty much can't beat the taplist there, and the food is good as well. As we do this trip annually, we hope to stay here again next year, and in further years to come!"
