Beautiful Tahoe-Donner Home with Large Great Room Minutes to Skiing & Winter Fun USA/California/Lake Tahoe/Truckee/Tahoe Donner 3 bedroom, 2 bath vacation home sleeps 6-7 Our beautiful, Tahoe-Donner home in the foothills above the town of Truckee features a large "great-room", perfect for entertaining, and a host of amenities that will make your stay in the Lake Tahoe area truly memorable. During the winter, guests can enjoy a "private" snow-play area in the large, empty lot next door. This is ideal for families with small children who don't want the hassle of loading up the kids to go to a public snow play area, only for someone in the group to get tired and want to go home. For those into snow sports, the home is a short 20 minutes from Sugar Bowl, Northstar, Squaw, and Alpine ski resorts. We are also just a 5 minute drive to the Tahoe Donner downhill ski area. The home itself features 1998 modern construction and includes a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, central heating, and pine accents throughout. The entire living area is on one level with direct access to both outdoor decks. The 'Great Room' offers almost 1,000 square feet of space, complete with a large sectional, 48" rear projection TV equipped with cable/DVD/VCR, dining area that comfortably seats seven, wood burning stove, and a kitchen area with plenty of counterspace. The master bedroom has a pillow-top, Sealy Posturepedic California king bed, its own 27" TV with cable and DVD player, and private bathroom with washer and dryer. The second bedroom features a queen-size Sealy Posturepedic (new in September 2008) and a private deck. The third bedroom has a trundle bed with two twins and another 27" TV with DVD and VCR, great for the kids.
