"My husband and I rented the Spinnaker to celebrate a wedding anniversary. We could not have been happier. The home was lovely with spectacular water views from the many windows and decks. We were initially concerned that the home would be too big for the two of us; however, we felt that the layout accommodated two people extremely well. The lower deck was amazing for relaxing in the adirondack chairs and a romantic candlelight waterfront dinner under beautiful evening stars. The master suite bathroom with a shower for two and romantic two person jacuzzi was luxurious--just like in your own private resort. The hardest decision was where to enjoy our morning coffee--from the balcony watching the sunrise over Assateague or the screened in porch. Usually the sun deck won out. Spinnaker is very well located in a quiet private community surrounded by lots of pine trees and a short ride to the beach, restaurants, shops and a delicious homemade ice cream parlor. The owners were a delight to deal with and provided lots of information on local activities. This home is perfect for a romantic getaway--as the saying goes, "Virginia is for Lovers." We hope to come back next time with our canoe! "
