The waterfall was the sound to hypnotize me to sleep, El Coqui was my music at night, added to by the tropical rain and rustle of the trees and bamboo. You have a very nostalgic, beautiful place. "Kevin and I had no idea what we were about to experience as we drove out to your cottage for the first time. Because it was late in the evening when we arrived, we could not see much. However, the sounds of the surrounding wildlife kept our curiosity high. The Sharper Image, "Sound Soother" can't even come close to what we were hearing. As we fell asleep in your beautiful, clean, comfortable, cottage I imagined in my mind what I would see in the morning. Our night's rest was more peaceful than I could ever describe. But the best part was waking up to the sound of Kevin's voice saying "Yvette, you have to look outside, it's amazing." I rolled out of bed and looked out into a lush jungle with an incredible waterfall. I turned to Kevin with a smile, this was exactly what I wanted and more. No hotels or resorts, no tourists crowding the streets. Just natural wonder everywhere I looked. The locally owned & occupied restaurant you took us to, perfectly located on a mystical lake was well worth the drive. The mouthwatering food, live music, and charismatic waitress kept Kevin and I looking at each other like, "Do we really want to leave?" But like any vacation leaving is very difficult but inevitable.
