"to be urgently discovered" Located 1 min ride from the subway (Lumpini station) with a taxi, motorbike or bicycle, the 9-story residence is off the main road and the noise, but at the same time very close to central business Bangkok. The top class residence has the same quality of service than a luxury hotel. It's very well protected : guards day and night, videosurveillance Cctv, special pass to enter the residence. It has a very nice and clean private swimming pool as well as a sports and fitness room fully equipped with the latest and sophisticated equipement. The apartment itself is very quiet, clean and very nicely decorated. The furniture is new and of best quality, not mentioning the big screen TV and the fast speed Internet connection. Henri, the owner, is such a nice man, always ready to help you in case of need. The area is like a small village, very warm and friendly, with the advantage of very good and cheap services and retaurants nearby. "Me and my brother stayed in this studio apt for 3 nights and it was perfect. Mr. Henry Steven was great from arranging a taxi to pick us up at the airport to giving us directions to nearby hotspots like where to eat and places to shop. This place is only a few minutes from the subway. Everything you will need is provided in the studio apt and its much better and cheaper than renting a hotel. "We chose to stay @ Henry Steven's accommodation in Bangkok on our first trip to Thailand as the reviews he had previously received were very good, and we were not disappointed in any way. Henry was prompt with his replies to our questions before we booked and this continued during our stay in Bangkok. Our accommodation was everything promised, eg great location, near shops and safe. Henry was prompt with our check in which we appreciated after our 13 hours in transit and the little touches like having our apartment address on business size paper written in Thai for us to show taxi drivers to bring us home was so very clever and helpful. Eddies direct in the house has the best cafe latte and cappucino and the food is wonderful. A plus was the fast internet connection. "I found this apartment to be quite comfortable and well-appointed. There was a nice view from the window/balcony, overlooking the neighborhood. It had all of the amenities one would need for a weekend or a month, including a full kitchen, washing machine, wi-fi, and TV. I could easily see myself living in a flat like this for an extended period of time, and there is little I would change. The only drawback is the location. I highly advise booking the driver arranged by the owner of the apartment. Otherwise, try to get a copy of the map/directions that he normally gives on arrival, from him in advance, before you actually look for it. I had a map from google maps, but it was hopeless trying to show it to a taxi driver. We ended up getting dropped off a mile from the apartment, with our luggage, to walk. And most taxi drivers in BKK will call the destination for directions, but he does not speak Thai. The flat is on a somewhat busy street, with a constant stream of taxis to take you wherever you need to go, with very little waiting. The Lumphini MRT station is a quick taxi ride down the street, not more than 30 Baht. And once you get your bearings, it is easy to walk or direct a taxi back from the MRT. It is also within walking distance to the Suan Lum night bazaar, Lumphini Park and even the BTS Skytrain, at Sala Deang, although the 'sidewalks' on some of the side streets leave much to be desired.
