This is COWBOY country! Situated in the very heart of Lamoille-- at the base of the Ruby Mountains-- and just 20 minutes from Elko, Nevada, Little Creek is the perfect place to base for skiers, hikers, climbers, cowboy poets, and those just looking to get away from it all! Our home is a custom-designed, spacious 2700 square foot cedar home with an open loft, cedar beams, and western touches and art throughout. The outside blends seamlessly with the inside here, and the interior is splashed with natural mountain sunlight radiating throughout the house through our many large windows. The property sits in a beautiful park-like, semi-wooded setting and you'll never get tired of the panoramic views which vary from every window and change with the seasons and hourly! Keep your eyes open--you're sure to see the abundant deer, wild turkey, and other native wildlife that share our Lamoille home! Little Creek Crossing is a great place for entertaining. It's the perfect place to host a family celebration or small party for friends. Our guests love the stone patio, located just off the kitchen and overlooking the "little creek" which runs about four months out of the year. The patio's a great place to sip that first morning cup of coffee or to gather with guests for an outdoor meal. The kitchen has hardwood floors and is large and inviting. It's equipped to handle a great holiday feast or romantic gourmet dinner for two. The media room/library has a great 50" plasma TV, and is well stocked with good movies and books--a perfect room for relaxing in with family and friends. On those cooler nights, you'll enjoy moving into the Great Room and curling up with a glass of wine or a good book in front of our cozy gas fireplace.
