Our sparkling, inviting, air conditioned Summer House in the heart of Historic Narragansett Pier, RI, is located just two blocks from the ocean. Park your car in the driveway for the week! Stroll along the ocean and seawall to Narragansett Town Beach, great restaurants and nice shops. Or drive to a myriad of other RI beaches, MORE great restaurants, and local attractions.
We have just completed the refurbishing, repainting and redecorating of this wonderful home. Make yourself at home with fresh cottage-chic furnishings and pretty colors, new (and comfortable) mattresses, newly stocked kitchenware and pretty floral and beach artwork throughout the house. There are two Queen bedrooms, and two Twin bedrooms - each Twin bedroom sleeps two persons (each has a trundle bed which include two Twin mattresses. The trundles have a pop up feature which enable them to convert into a Queen-sized bed, if desired.)
We have cable TV w/VCR DVD, A/C, washer/dryer, well-appointed kitchen, dining area and comfy living room. A wonderful deck with grill and deck furniture is off the sunny living room. We have a backyard that is pretty enough to hold a small summer wedding! With four nice bedrooms, including the master suite with private bath, the house comfortably accommodates eight persons.
We also have convenient outdoor apres-beach shower. A garage and ample off-street parking completes the exterior. There are beach chairs and umbrella in the garage for your convenience. (This is a smoke-free, pet-free beach home.)
The desirable Pier section of Narragansett, located across the road from the ocean, is filled with a variety of interesting architecture and is blessed with gorgeous mature trees, flora and foliage. Enjoy idyllic beaches, ocean breezes and good times at our RI beach house at Narragansett Pier.
We're 35 miles south of Providence, a 1/2 hour from the state airport, 5.5 miles south of URI and 126 miles from NYC.

Our house has very nice cottage-chic furnishings, 4 bedrooms (2 Queens, 4 Twins that can turn into 2 Queens) 2 full baths, a fully- equipped and newly applianced and remodeled kitchen and dining area, living room with glass doors to a nice deck with deck furniture and BBQ grill. We have cable TV/DVD/VCR, and air-conditioning. This beach house has almost entirely new furniture and new comfortable mattresses, brand new mattress covers, pillows, stylish duvets, blankets, kitchen utensils and dishes. We have a fireplace and lots of light coming in through sparkling just-washed and polished windows!
The house is in immaculate condition with wonderful and whimsical cottage-chic furnishings that will make you smile, and make you feel comfortable and at home.

Our house is two blocks from the ocean, a ten-minute walk along the ocean/seawall to Narragansett Town Beach and a very short ride to many other beaches including Scarborough and Roger Wheeler (Sand HillCove). We're a quick ride to the Newport Bridge, and Historic Wickford (home of the Wickford Summer Art Festival, and wonderful shops). We're driving distance to wonderful Foxwoods Casino and Mohegan Sun in Connecticut. The fishing boats of Galilee and the Block Island Ferry are but a short drive from our house. There are lovely shops and a movie theatre across the road from the beach. There are golf courses close by and many other activities to occupy your days and evenings, when you're not sunning on the beautiful beaches or bbq'ing on the deck. If you enjoy cooking, there is a huge Stop & Shop close by as well as the newly refurbished Belmont Market in Wakefield ("in town"). Belmont Market has wonderful produce, organic chicken and beef and fresh seafood. It is a gourmet's delight. There are many farm stands with local produce in the immediate vicinity. Be sure to try just-picked RI sweet as sugar sweetcorn! And the MEGA-Marshalls -- just down at the end of South Pier Road -- is a shopper's paradise. The funky Dollar Store is in the same shopping center and one can find wonderful buys there as well. We are also just 5 miles from URI. C'mon down. (Or up!)

"We had a great week. The house was charming, and my daughter and I really liked your decorating. We enjoyed walking along the sea wall every evening and our favorite restaurant for the week was Turtle Soup. Our highlight excursion was Block Island, which we went to on Friday. We rented bikes and rode up to North Light and Settlers Rock. It was beautiful. "
