"We spent a great week at the Propes' retreat - the best condo we've had in the three years we spent time at the Plantation. We loved the decor - the colors and the great leather couch, the comfortable bed, the fine linens, the fully-stocked kitchen (a waffle iron, even), the view of the ocean on nice balcony furniture, hanging hooks attached in just the right places, a good stock of cleaning supplies, and clear instructions for guests attached conveniently on the refrigerator. The Wifi worked great, many pamphlets of area attractions were provided, and the nicest touch of all was a wine flute filled with Hershey's kisses. "This was our second summer vacation at the "Gulf Beach Retreat". We stayed from the July 4th through the 11th. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.  "We had a great time! The condo was perfect for 2 adults and 2 kids. It was very family friendly and in the perfect location. There was a beautiful view of the beach/ocean from the patio. The weather was perfect and the water was still warm. This was one of the most beautiful beaches we've visited and it wasn't very busy this time of year, so it was like having our own private beach. We even saw dolphins swim by as we sat on the beach! The condo was in the perfect location with the beach a few feet away. Pools and hot tubs were great too. We didn't want to leave! The furnishings are new and tasteful and the bed was very comfy. There's only 1 short flight of stairs up to this unit and it's very convenient from the parking area when you're lugging suitcases. The balcony was perfect for breakfast (loved the table and chairs!) Having a keypad (and not having to worry about a card/key) was very convenient, also. We loved the "extra touches" such as books, CDs, fluffy towels, that catered to our experience. This was our first experience booking a condo directly through the owner, and Amanda made it very easy. It was common to see only 10-20 people on the beach at any given time and often we had the pools to ourselves. The condo was PERFECT for a small family with bunk beds and a bedroom.
