"We had a wonderful time at Oceanside. We were looking for something that was a comfortable drive from Los Angeles and San Diego, and this location is perfect. Our unit was very nicely "stocked" with all necessities - paper products, beach towels, beach chairs, toys, etc. The entire complex is very "family friendly" and fun for all ages. We were especially impressed by the overall cleanliness of the complex; elevators, grill areas, etc., were well maintained. "The Garden Grotto-G218 condo was great. It was supplied w/everything we needed for a week's stay(except hairdryers). The location of the condo was perfect since we were there to see our son return from Iraq to Camp Pendleton. This condo was the perfect size for the size of our party. There was plenty of room and beds big enough to accomodate. Also, the location of this complex is convenient to everything in and around Oceanside. We would definitely stay here again.  "The location for this condo couldn't be beat: walking distance to the beach, safe and clean city, grocery and other shopping nearby. We found a local surf school and were able to line up affordable surf lessons for our teenagers. For those visiting Disneyland or other parks, there is easy access to and from the freeway and the parks are not far away. The condo was clean and equipped with nice bedding, comfy furniture, TVs and internet. The pool was nice and the landscaping was awesome. The beach towels provided were big and fluffy, and the picnic bag came in handy as did the totes to take things down to the beach. My only problem was that since it sleeps 6 and had dining room seating for 6, I assumed when the website said there were beach chairs and boogie boards, that there would be 6. There were only 3 of each. The kitchen was pretty well outfitted except there were no garbage bags nor a lighter for the bbq. Other than those minor problems, the condo was wonderful and our family had an incredible time and we would recommend this condo to anyone looking for a fun escape to the beach." - Marion J., Utah, 04/04/2009

"This was a beautiful condo in a complex that was on the ocean. We had great view. The condo had everything you could ever need in the way of living needs,down to hand soap by all of the sinks. "My family rented the property for one week in late June. The condo was very nice and had everything we needed. The property and ocean view were great. Beautiful.Oceanside is a very quite town. Great for a family vacation. If you are looking for excitement, this may not be the place for you. I had a hard time getting my husband out of the easy chair, he was so relaxed soaking up the ocean breeze! My children, at the time, ages 7 and 11 really enjoyed the pool on the property and playing in the sand at the beach. The only drawback was at that time of year it barely reached 80 degrees. I didn't swim at all because I prefer it to be warmer. I let the children swim in the pool but they did not swim in the ocean. I would recommend this property and Oceanside to anyone looking for a week of peace and tranquility. We really enjoyed the Thursday evening street festival with all of the crafts and variety of foods. "What a great location- we walked to the beach everyday, and Legoland was a quick drive away. We have 3 boys and having a kitchen to cook makes a vacation so much easier. The pool was a little colder than we expected, but was well maintained. The unit was very clean and well maintained- what a great surprise to find beach toys, boogie boards and beach chairs- it made the stay for us.There was some noise from units above us but overall a great place to stay.
