"My Wife and I stayed at Rick and Vicky Trails 2nd condo in Kihai, which is the unit facing the main road one block to the awesome sunsets of charlie young beach park and 20 paces from the great pool. The condo was very nicely equiped and decorated, it came with all the comforts of your Hawaiian home, full kitchen, washer and dryer, dishwasher, all the kitchen equipment we needed. It also provided a cooler, beach chairs, snorkeling equipment etc. the condo was very nicely furished with a large closet and comfortable bed in the master bedroom as well as a sleeper sofa, there was a nice TV, DVD player and stereo as well as books and activities magazines. we stayed in Kehai for four days and Kanapali for four days and we really enjoyed the homey and laid back lifestyle in Kehai. Kanapali and Lahina were much more crowded and tourist filled. We loved the short drive to Big beach (makeena) and the lava flows, we were also a very short drive to Kahalui for the costco, walmart etc. but kehai has great stores. we saved hundreds on food by shopping and preparing our own meals. I could go on and on. the bottom line is we booked this condo sight unseen and were extremely happy both with the condo and the friendliness of Rick and Vicki, who were staying at their 2nd condo in Kehai. for the price, location and ammenities I would highly recommend this rental. in Fact we saw their other unit and both were excellent. ***** 5 stars We plan to go back and stay again in the future because we loved it so much, I wish I could buy one but this is the next best thing, and it blows a hotel away. please feel free to contact us with any specific questions.
