"(Casa Santana) Dear Deb & Jordan - Never have we felt so much in a "home from home" as we have this week in Casa Santana. The only thing that has contradicted this feeling has been the utterly stunning view from the window -- as we live in the English countryside the view could not have been more different than that at home! It made our mouths drop open from the first walking in and has continued to do so each time we enter the sitting room. We would like to compliment you particularly on the sympathetic and high quality of conversion of the apartment. You have lost none of the character of this wonderful old house in this delightful neighborhood. FUTURE VISITORS: Before venturing further afield, walk the streets on your doorstep to meet the true character and characters of Lisboa. We have also had some of our best meals in the restaurants that are literally "just around the corner." The mod cons of the Internet access and the doubleglazing were also, however, greatly appreciated! As I run several mail lists and writing workshops on the Internet, I have been able to share my visit here with firends across the globe "as it happens." Expect more enquiries, as we will continue to spread the word of how tremendously enjoyable a week in Casa Santana can be. Thank you! "
