"(Casa Travessa and Casa Santana) We've had a wonderful return visit to Lisbon after sixteen years, here at Casa Travessa with our daugher and son-in-law at Casa Santana. Highlights were the great cheeses, and wines from the Douro region and our dinner and fado night out with Diogo. (Bacalhau de Molho, casadelinhares-dot-com, and Clube de Fado, clube-de-fado-dot-com). Bom Jardin chicken was great for take-out and Christmas day dinner at Gambrinus was wonderful. Cervejaria Marisqueira (behind the church) had good food but terrible service and mistakes on the bill. Casa Travessa was a delight as "home." We'd like to stay longer but off to Dublin´s rain for a week before going home to HornbyIsland, British Columbia, Canada. Kathi Innman and Bob Cain, rcainphoto-dot-com ps-the 'ugly' ducks are Muscovy's and are South American Tree ducks, not really ducks -- they can fly and climb!"
