"I can still taste the empandillas that we got almost every day at a small roadside stand near Shack's Beach. You don't find those in upstate New York. Isabela and the surrounding areas along the north west shore of Puerto Rico is a location that you must visit. By staying at the Casa De Paraiso, we enjoyed the best possible family vacation you could have. The house was confortable, well equiped, located near many perfect beaches and just far enough off the main roads that you really felt like you were in a different country. Much of Puerto is Americanized but when you venture off the main highways, you can experience many exciting and interesting vistas. We loved the Friday market at San Sabestian. The drive on Rt 112 was almost as interesting! We surfed at Jobos, snorkled and scuba dived at Shacks and enjoyed the sandy beach at Crashboat. Dinner at the Happy Belly is always a treat. Make sure you go and stay at the CAsa De Paraiso!"
