"Hello Mrs. Murat, I'm still thinking about last week, spent at "Blue Skies Cottage" and what a wonderful time I had. It felt extremely comfortable and cozy in the cottage. The decor is very tastefully done (I can recognize Pottery Barn and IKEA) and I really felt just like I was at home from the minute I walked in the door. There was nothing lacking in the kitchen. "We were very happy with the cottage itself, the property and very pleased with where it was located - especially how close it was to the bluff. In all it was a very nice place to just hang out as a family - and that we did a lot of. BTW - thought it was well represented on-line and in the materials you sent us. We didn't make it to any local restaurants but then that was our plan - we tend to happier cooking for our selves and found the kitchen met our needs there nicely. The one surprise was discovering how large the back yard was. Our dog's are going to have a hard time settling for their rather smallish home lot now. :) The game selection, kids books and kids/family videos were great. "Hello Mercedes, Thank you also for sending me the security deposit. It arrived promptly, as you said, and was among the pile of mail awaiting my return. We had a great time during our stay in Bolinas, and were only sorry we couldn't stay longer. I took an early morning walk one of the days we were there, along the road that runs along the bluff overlooking the ocean, and much enjoyed the early morning mistiness, the bird songs, and the gently noises and movement of the low-tide waves. Later that day we walked along the beach of the Lagoon, out toward the ocean, and the following day, explored the rock pools and their contents at Agate Beach. There was just not enough time to explore all the attractions Bolinas offers, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and have vowed to return next year if possible, and perhaps also in subsequent years. The games and toys which were much appreciated. We did indeed make use of the firepit on the day we celebrated my daughter's birthday. It made for a very pleasant, warm focus to gather around. I believe I can say for all of us that we found the sleeping arrangements to be spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen and living room facilities convenient and well stocked with equipment and items that added to the pleasure of the stay. Thank you again for your contribution to the arrangements for our stay at the Cottage.  "Mercedes, The cottage was everything we dreamed it would be. And the view! At the end of the road! We were completely blown away!!! We spent our mornings on the patio drinking coffee and catching up. Our first night we salsa danced at Smiley's, who hosted a Latin Rock Band! We spent all afternoon Saturday walking the town of Bolinas and the beautiful beaches. We did build a fire the second night making the atmosphere that much more cozy. I guess to put it into perspective....... for you and the owners...... we were completely awe-struck at the attention to detail of the beautiful landscaping. .....the decor in the cottage was perfect for our taste.... and most importantly, we took total advantage of the short time we had to escape from our busy lives. Returning to WI to find another 12 inches of snow and a temperature of -10 made me appreciate it even more. We were able to find everything we were looking for and we would love to go back. However, we will be staying an extra night.. ...there doesn't seem to ever be enough time to do it all. Your directions were so precise! Thank you for that. We didn't arrive until 8pm Friday night and I was nervous.. ...and then there it was! We are very serious about a return trip to Blue Skies, and can't wait to start planning for it. Thank you again for all of your help and information. "Hi Mercedes, We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. We found it clean, safe, and so beautifully decorated. We did manage to make it over to Mill Valley for a spa afternoon of massage, and the next day, up to the Cowgirl Creamery in Point Reyes. We took a drive in the mist and rain out to Point Reyes and saw the elephant seals. It was beautiful, austere, very much like western Ireland out there. "Hi there, We had a great stay at the cottage! I would definitely recommend it to anyone who needed accommodations in Bolinas. It was a gorgeous weekend. We did actually get a fire going on our final night there. We were there for a friend's wedding, which was actually held just 1 block away.! "Ms. Murat, We enjoyed our stay at the Blue Skies Cottage Retreat. Fortunately, your directions were very good as we arrived at the cottage in 3 separate cars Friday night after 11:00 p.m. With cell reception very poor, we were unable to connect with eachother, but were all able to find the Cottage. We ate out most of the time but did cook on the outside grill twice. We went to the Stinson Beach restaurants a couple of times and enjoyed the restaurant in "OLEMA" that is North on Highway 1 as well. Thanks for your patience with the payment and for going to the post office to pick it up. I am sure our experience would have been quite different if you hadn't been willing to do that! "We loved it. My kids had so much fun. We had a fire in the fire pit, we sipped champagne on the back deck in the sun, we played games outside and also had many plays put on by the children outside. It was wonderful. We watched movies, played games etc inside and ate out very little. We loved Agate beach and Stinson beach. The kids flew their kites several times, searched for sand dollars on Stinson and on Agate searched for shells and checked out the tide pools. We visited the city 3 different days and had a blast. We went to Point Reyes and hiked and hiked and went to Angel Island. We hiked Muir Woods and so enjoyed that. The picture was perfect for the time we were out there. My kids loved their time out there and you made it so easy to enjoy by being in contact with me, answering questions and sending information. Job well done on your part and I thank you. "We did have a great weekend at "Blue Skies". We enjoyed being able to stay in such a wonderful area. Having a fenced yard felt secure for our 2 dogs. We had so much fun at Stinson Beach with them, and just walking them in the neighborhood. Having our breakfast outside in the back deck was also enjoyable. The landscaping in the yard is very well done. The cottage and it's furnishings were quite comfortable. We enjoyed Audobon Canyon Ranch for hiking and photography. "Dear Mercedes, I loved "Blue Skies Beach Cottage so much!!! At first you don't expect the beach to be at the end of that driveway, but there it was. The house was so clean and comfortable. We had excellent weather each and every day. I personally am a traveler and have to get out to meet the locals. So by the second day I went down and had breakfast at Stinson and then hung around Bolinas. The other girls stayed, prayed and read and didn't want to move from the house, which was fine, because it was so comfortable. I also know Point Reyes-Inverness pretty well so I went down there a couple of times to say hello. But we shared allot of laughs and rest. I couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay. I would highly recommend the place and will to my friends. I am looking to put a travel book together for 2008 and will let them know to contact you. "Hello Mrs. Murat, I wanted to express in writing about our lovely stay at the beach house in Bolinas. We had the most special time as a family in that little house! It was just what we had been seeking; rest, fresh air, and a time to reconnect. We immediately felt at home the minute we opened the front gate. The rooms were cozy and private enough so that even our 14 year old daughter could have some alone time when she wanted it. We spent so much time on the two fabulous decks the space felt like outdoor rooms. Our days we filled with beach walks, sunsets, a fun yoga lesson on the deck one beautiful morning from our daughter,then movies every night and most importantly-- lots of laughter as a family. This week marks the 2 year annniversary since my surgery and it has been a long journey, not yet completed, back to feeling more stable. Our lily white Canadian skin got sunburned sitting out at the Stinson Beach grill over lunch (by the way I highly recommend the grill...great , fresh food). "Had a great time! What a cute little house. It was so beautiful up there! We turned on the hot tub...put a movie,and took a VERY LONG NAP. We went to dinner at the Stinson Beach Grill, which was good, came back and hopped into that tub and a bottle of merlot. It was great..we didn’t do a whole lot of sightseeing...but I loved it anyway! "I had a wonderful time. The weather was amazing. The house was quite cozy and the town of Bolinas is a unique and beautiful place. My friend enjoyed the hot tub! We made a nice dinner on Sat night and then went to Smiley’s and saw a band. We spent a few days at Stinson. Went to Lima tour Beach in the Point Reyes Area, Agate Beach and Bolinas Beach. "We had wonderful time this weekend and bolinas and the cottage was great! It was the perfect place to spend quiet time and for us to catch up. The cottage itself was very nice and we had a wonderful stay and loved the little town. My sister is a yoga instructor and loved having the space in the larger room to do yoga in the mornings.  "Your cottage is very nice. Well maintained and clean. It had everything we needed. I loved how quiet it was. We spent one full day in Point Reyes and one full day in San Fran/Sausilio area. We saw Tule Elk and loved McCluire beach area. We enjoyed a nice dinner in Stinson Beach also. Point Reyes was beautiful. We did enjoy a nice sunset over the ocean, on the front deck when we returned from Point Reyes. I will recommend this to people if they are staying near the area.
