Our luxury apartment is located in the Aquamarina II complex at the center of the Cap Cana's Marina, the biggest inland marina of the Caribbean with a fine array of elegant gourmet restaurants and specialty boutiques. Once the third stage of the Marina is completed, it will be able to birth 500 yachts. It will be the only full service marina in a 400 kilometer radius between the Turks and Caicos and Puerto Rico, accommodating all types of yachts. The Aquamarina Condominiums offer the best of both worlds - the relaxation and beauty of the beach and the dynamic attractions of a marina. The Marina is fully operational, and has boat slips available for yachts up to 150 feet. The charming canals that are along the Marina will take you back to 17th-century Venice. For your convenience, mini-steamboats will whisk you to wherever you wish to go and they are also called vaporettos like their Italian counterpart. "If you need tranquility and luxury this is the place for you. Better than the pictures! We stayed at Aquamarina 1022 between Dec 28-Jan08 and we LOVED it! Enjoying each day more and more. The unit is simply amazing, with its brilliant design, beautiful finishing’s and attention to detail only to please the most demanding guest.The morning coffee and an evening glass of wine at the terrace overlooking the marina were priceless. We loved the fact we can relax at the beach with minimal crowds, hoping that place remains that way, quite unique comparing to all-inclusive resorts. If you like to prepare your meals at the fully equipped and beautiful kitchen, the Nacional supermarket have all you need from basic groceries, incl. milk, eggs, water, coffee bread, cheese, ham butter, fruits and a choice of good spanish wines, next to other liqueurs.There are other options to dine: Il Cappuccino Restaurant and Aquamare both in the Founders Residences; and La Arroceria Valenciana and Xoxolati in Fishing Lodge. Juanillo Beach - a gorgeous, secluded and beautiful! There is beach bar/ restaurant with cabanas and beach lounge sofas. The food is a bit pricy, but the area is luxurious and beautiful. We were a bit surprised all car rental companies were simply overbooked (Christmas and New year) and a reserved and guaranteed well in advance was simply not available. Well, it proved to be a good thing after all giving us the chance to explore more on foot. We thank the owner for taking such a care of the visitors. We will be coming back! Hasta la próxima!"
