"From guestbook: What a beautiful and cozy cottage here at the ocean’s edge. We were lucky enough to be here for the full moon. It was so awesome seeing the moon glistening on the water. Just watching the tide coming in and going out was so relaxing. This has been a very wonderful week for us. Our favorite restaurant was the White House; the meals were very plentiful and reasonable. We also got to see Nova Scotia on the CAT. That was a fun day trip. Went to Acadia National Park on Ole’s trolley and learned interesting facts about the park and Bar Harbor. Saw FDR’s summer home on Campobello. The countryside here in this Downeast Maine is very pretty, especially this time of year. The cottage is perfect; with so many nice touches you have added makes it very special. Thanks for a wonderful week. We will treasure our memories at the Cottage by the Sea."
