"We stayed August 5th and 6th. The condo was comfortable for our needs. We really loved that it is pet friendly. The village is a beautiful place to vacation. We enjoyed the free concert (Rolling Stones tribute). The pizza at Firestone pizza was very good. You can park your car & do everything right from Squaw Valley--bike to Tahoe City on the path along the Truckee River and on to Sugar Pine State Park along the West Shore, hike to High Camp and on miles of trails, swim, golf, have dinner, etc.. The scenery is just gorgeous. Squaw Valley is our new favorite place to stay in the summer. Tahoe itself can be so hectic with traffic. We travel from a very small, quiet, mountain town, so when we want hectic we go to San Francisco or some other city. I was worried about the noise (I was running the Squaw Valley Mtn run the next mroning), but it wasn't a problem at all. We slept with the fan on and windows open.
