Normally we camp one night, but we were both very satisfied not camping this year. This cabin made it very much worth not camping. "This was such a treat! What a charming place! Everyone here was so friendly and helpful. I can't wait until we can come here again. Now for some of the more interesting aspects of our vacation. On Day One, after scenic Bald River Falls (very nice) and the fish hatchery, we came back here only to find that we couldn't go back to the cabin because one of the locals decided to get liquored up and drive his company vehicle which he promptly wrecked. Does Mr. LawBiding Citizen wait until the police show? Noooooo! He decides to go get his 30-06 rifle and a bunch of ammo from his house (somewhere up 610 here) and go into the woods to play Rambo! For two hours he was firing his rifle while almost 30 police officers armed with all kinds of weapons start all their search. Well they found him after a bit, passed out and promptly arrested him.  "Been here for a week. We had a great time. We absolutely loved the cabin. Checked out quite a few sites during our stay. Bald River Fals had to have been the best. Drove up to Gatlinburg. Was a nice place to see with Ripley's Aquarium. The Skyway is an awesome view of the Mountains. One other site that was exquisite is the Conasauga Falls. Definitely would have to see that again.
