An open-living Zen home with Bungalow-style trim, rustic exposed post and beams, cedar ceilings, and hickory floors throughout. Living area has fireplace which gives a cozy ambiance. Kitchen, living and dining areas open to water-view and large wrap-around deck. Family room and bathrooms have lovely cedar ceilings. Master bedroom has queen bed. Large second bedroom has two queen beds. Main bathroom has shower over jetted-tub. Laundry has stack washer/dryer.
Back deck has hot/cold outdoor shower/wash area. Stairs down to beach with a view deck just above sea-wall.
Off-street parking on a quiet dead-end street. Warm Beach Convenience Store within walking distance and Warm Beach Camp and Conference Center at end of street. Wonderful quiet neighborhood and crime-watch environment. Snohomish County Transit bus service on Marine Drive. Amtrak Train station in Stanwood. Pick-up service available if needed.
Home is one-level and mostly wheel-chair accessible; however, NOT ADA compliant.
This truly is a gem for someone who loves and appreciates nature and all her beauty. Enjoy wonderful sunset views across Port Susan to Camano Island, the Olympic Mountains, distant hill-tops of the San Juan Islands, and on the rare occassion the mountain-tops in British Columbia, Canada.
Watch and listen to the harbor seals, bald eagles, ducks, gees, river otters, deer, coyote and other wildlife that have made these incredible tidelands at the Southern-mouth of the Stillaguamish River their home. Watch the salmon as they swim upstream and fight the odds of survival against their natural predators.
