I phoned Byron and within 2 hours someone came and replaced the wireless modem. Byron and Kat are just the nicest people to deal with, you can't go wrong if you rent their place. "The owner was easy to deal with and our vacation went without a hitch. Our condo was clean and well appointed. The residents (mostly retired folks) and staff treated us well. Very quiet relaxing place to stay, great place and wonderful beach. We enjoyed it a lot. Makes one wonder why anyone would stay in a hotel when a condo is so much nicer and costs less. "Our vacation was smooth and comfortable, in large part due to your great condo. We love Mazatlan but we did not feel compelled to stay in the gold zone, we enjoyed relaxing and decompressing in your place. The Internet is so important to me and the services were flawless, both broadband and wireless. We made good use of the kitchen and everything that we needed was there including the clothes washer and drier. We watched TV and used the DVD player. We put on our own CD's and danced. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and the beach there is wonderful. What can I say, it was fabulous! Now we are back in the rat race and stressing all over again. We are planning to come again in the new year after carnival and we would love to rent your place again. "I wanted to let others know if they are considering going there they should not worry for a minute that it won't be everything they hope it will be! I will be recommending it to friends and feel very confident they will love it as much as I did. It was a wonderful place and I look forward to going back again. The condo is new and kept extremely clean and I loved the cheerful decor which is bright and airy. The kitchen and dining area made it easy for us to stock up on food so whenever we wanted to have a meal there it was convenient. You can easily forget all the stress of your normal life while relaxing in the hot tub or the pool, but my favourite part which was the beach also just a few feet away. Early every morning I saw the maintenance staff out making sure the beach was clean and even raking the sand so it looked nice. I would sit under a palapa on the beach and read or just look at the ocean or sometimes look for shells in the sand and it was all very relaxing. Walking the beach at night was one of our favourite things to do. If you are more adventurous there are places you can go on a deep sea fishing excursion, parasailing or you walk a block or two and check out the Mazagua water park. There is a restaurant and a small store in the building and we were just a short walk down the beach from more restaurants, souvenir shops and a mini food mart. Or if we wanted a little more excitement at night it is just a short bus or taxi ride to the Golden Zone for many choices of restaurants and shopping and a busy touristy type area. They have a lot of stores for things you don't need and will never use again as well as a few shopping areas for things you might need. And be sure to bring a camera for some beautiful scenery. We love this place and will for sure be back next year!!! The owner and the staff were very helpful with everything. The condo was stocked with all the essentials we needed. "Well, I have to start out by saying my wife and I had a very good time in Mazatlan. The facilities at Costa Bonita were very nice, and the pictures that were provided represented the condo and the area very accurately. My wife and I found the facility to be very relaxing...we would definitely consider renting again there again. Weather was very nice, not too hot, and with a slight breeze off of the ocean it was very comfortable. If you want to just relax on your vacation, this place will allow you to do that. Everyone we "bumped" into and chatted with were very friendly. The place is clean and well looked after. It is a little ways from the Golden Zone and more active areas, but a quick taxi ride (relatively cheap compared to what we would pay here in Canada), or the bus system (very cheap) will get you to the action. We wished we would have booked it for longer. Maybe next time. I am back at work and hating it. This past weekend, since returning home, was very depressing for me...lol...sigh.  "We stayed at this lovely condo in Feb 2009. We made very last minute plans so we didn't know what we would find. We needn't have worried. The condo was truly wonderful and nicely appointed..... clean, comfortable and up to date. Air conditioning works great, quiet location, fabulous beach, comfortable atmosphere, beautiful pools, and friendly staff. I highly recommend this condo. Very laid back, relaxing and not commercialized as other resorts. The owner was great and I couldn't ask for better communication. We hated to leave and are looking forward to coming back.
