Showed us everything (and everything was working), the appartment has an amazing view on Bangkok. Just 5 min away from Nana plaza by foot, all convenience around. Beds are (really) confortable, maid service is perfect, safe is big, the condo has all the facilities you want. Henry knows pretty much everything about the neighbourhood, really, I recommend ! ""A great base in central Bangkok" We had a fantastic stay in this apartment. Henery's wifemet us to check us in. She is very friendly and has good english. The apartment was very clean and spacious with great views. The maid did a wonderful job of cleaning the apartment each day, including our dishes, which meant we were able to spend the maximum time enjoying the city. It was a real treat to be able to go out each day, do heaps of things and then come home hot and tired to a clean, cool and relaxing apartment. We made use of the swimming pool on the 14th floor and really enjoyed that too. The location is in a central location with 7-11s and restaurants nearby. We had two small children with us and it worked really well for them. The master bedroom is really nice with a stunning view over the city. The only thing that I did not enjoy was that at night in the master bedroom I could hear the drumming of an air conditioner from time to time. ""absolutely fantastic." As I own my own holiday rental apartment in Berlin, I am acutely aware of the time, money, effort and care that goes into presenting a quality property. This apartment was faultless and I wished I could have stayed there longer. The views are magnificent, and having your own large private 35th floor terrace is an amazing luxury in Bangkok. The apartment is spacious and tastefully appointed. Big 3 way bathroom and 2nd toilet.All utensils and very fast internet. It is hard to find one thing that isn't of the absolute highest standard.I only gave the location 4 stars because it is about 100 metres further from Sukhumvit than ideal, but I am just being lazy. On top of everything else, dealing with Henry is an absolute pleasure. He is a gentleman and a scholar. I would recommend this apartment to anybody. "We really enjoyed our stay here. As other reviewers have said, the apartment was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The air-con was perfect and zoned for each bedroom/living area. The outdoor terrace lived up to the hype providing massive 180+ degree views of Bkk's skyline. The temperature out on the terrace at night was much cooler than down at street level which made it a great place to relax and get some "fresh" air! We opted for Henry's driver to pick us up from Suvarnabhumi and it all went smoothly- I accidentally left my (very expensive!) sunglasses the taxi which the driver kindly returned to reception (I didn't even know I'd lost them yet!). This made my small tip to the driver seem even more worthwhile! Henry greeted us on arrival and was very hospitable, provided us with some good tips on the local area, etc. The suggested shortcut to Soi 11 via the adjacent underground car park was top drawer advice! Soi 13 is not very developed so being able to get across to Soi 11 (a great Soi) so conveniently was a huge bonus! "A gem of a place" This is the second time we are staying in one of the properties maintained by Mr. Steven and even though we thought the first one was a good deal, this one is even better. The apartment itself has anything and everything one would want to as a base for a break in Bangkok. "The apartment is fantastic. I made the decision three years ago to abandon Bangkok hotels to stay in this wonderful place. Staying here allows you to escape the confines of a bed dominated hotel room. The apartment's living area is very large with a comfortable sofa and chairs, a huge wall mounted flat screen television and dvd player. You could not find a more relaxing area to begin or end your day, unless you make your way through the sliding doors to the apartment's private terrace. The terrace is unique and the high point of the apartment. It is extremely large bordered by a garden with a small carved wood bar with stools where you can enjoy morning tea or coffee or evening drinks. There is also an area beyond the bar with a table and chairs if this is more to your liking. Sitting on the 35 fllor perch of the terrace allows fantastic views of Bangkok. The building offers many conveniences including mini-marts, a laundry service, and a small restaurant all located on the 14 floor lobby, where the pool is also located. The building's location is centrally located. The Nana sky train station is about a ten minute walk away. Taxis are plentiful outside the apartment's front doors. Close by on Soi 11 you will find a good quality food market(Villa Mart) that has western and asian foods, and several good restaurants and night clubs. You can reach Soi 11 by taking a short cut through the ambassador Hotel's garage to reach Soi 11 from Soi 13(also to get the sky train). My multiple stays have been excellent. The apartment owner( Henry) is a great guy who is very responsive to all requests. I look forward to my next stay at the 35 floor Soi 13 apartment.
