Our open living, dining area is relaxing with lots of sunshine. The new kitchen with marble countertops adjoins the public rooms. When you want space apart, a light & airy family room has 2nd cable TV/DVD/VCR. A seasonal sun room with French doors out to the BBQ offers more lounging room. Plus a place to put those sandy beach treasures! Out the French doors you'll find a private patio dappled in sunlight, perfect for an afternoon catnap while gentle sea breezes caress the cares away.
Come nightfall, you'll be soothed in the large, vaulted master bedroom with its own 3/4 bath which includes tiled shower & heated tiled floor. Charming main bath has its original, deep claw foot tub plus a shower. Two sweet, smaller bedrooms don't skimp on comfort--Welcome adults, Welcome, children! And for you little tykes, there's a Winnie the Pooh chair just for you!
Most of our rooms have partial views of flat, no bank beach. Not- so-fussy antiques sprinkled throughout & paintings on the walls accentuate Seashell's mellow age. A very large fenced yard is perfect for play. RV parking is available next to cottage. The cottage offers lots of privacy, but is definitely not off the beaten path. You can walk to shops & restaurants, eat out on their verandas & watch the magnificent sunsets over those warm waters.
Really, it's no mystery why Birch Bay boasts these warmest & safest of waters! The largest tide flat in Washington State sits & bakes in the sun, day after day, it's one of Washington's best kept secrets.
Our area offers up the greatest diversity, lots of recreational opportunities, from tranquil to challenging! Two World Class Golf courses are nearby. Waterslides, Go Karts & Surries add to the local flavor of our laid back resort area. Got a chocolate craving? A short walk brings you to the 'C' shop where European trained chocolatiers practice their delectable art.
Speaking of food, we provide our off season guests fresh baked cinnamon rolls, delivered to the cottage.
Meander out of Birch Bay to Quaint Bellingham's museums & shops, Dutch Lynden is a real Treat. Explore the countryside with its many farms catering to the public, with everything from wine, cheese or berries.
For more fast paced international adventure, visit Vancouver or enjoy English Victoria. A network of ferries & private charters are ready to help you explore the coast & islands. Or to the south another metropolis - Seattle - awaits with another day of fun.
Need more room? We also own vintage Lora's Cottage, across the narrow lane. Rent both to sleep 17 comfortably.
Need even more room? There's a motor home hook up next to the cottage.
