Located in a quiet neighborhood just a few minutes walk from downtown Carmel, this delightful light-filled house has it all, including a private, nicely landscaped fenced-in back yard where children and pets can play. Special care has been taken by the owners of the 1800-square-foot cottage to create an environment that is relaxing and uplifting. Virtually all on one level, the house can sleep up to eight in the three bedrooms that include a master suite (two baths). All have king beds that can be converted into twins as needed; there is also a sleeper sofa. A high, pitched ceiling in the living room-- with its sophisticated color scheme of chocolate brown, mossy green and shades of blue punctuated by off-white furnishings -- adds to the feeling of spaciousness created by an open floor plan. French doors swing open to an inviting courtyard. A dining area off the fully equipped kitchen can seat six to eight, and there also is eating space at a countertop bar in the kitchen with five bar stools.
