 "Perched high on the hillside above Hwy 1 with a panoramic view of the rugged California coast is a simple cottage with a rustic, yet well kept appearance. It is very private - well off the road down a long driveway and then a footpath past the main residence. From the outside it looks charming, and even a bit funky. Once inside it is clear that the owners have thought of everything - and have very good taste. Every need and detail has been attended to thoughtfully and with subtle yet, interesting aesthetics. I was continually surprised by the little touches - the interesting stone work in the spacious shower, the small painting next to the bed, the quality of the woodwork throughout.
