Languish on the porch and drink in tranquilizing 180-degree ocean views, smell the roses and watch the birds flit in and out of the oak trees. Built by master craftsmen, the cabin displays artistic touches throughout, including a beach-glass and found-object mosaic in the shower, colorful hand-carved doors, and a sculpture made of natural materials scavenged in Big Sur. The well-equipped kitchen includes a full refrigerator, stove/oven and microwave. Two people can live comfortably in this magical Lilliputian space. A pullout couch provides additional sleeping (the queen bed can be screened for privacy). This is the perfect place to finish a creative project or become inspired to start one. WiFi available for your computer, as well as a TV with DVD player now offering cable access. Binoculars and telescope are provided. The cabin has a porch with a table for two to enjoy a meal. If you don't wish to dine in, the Highlands Inn with its world-class restaurants is within walking distance. Although you may want to just stay home and relax, a short drive will find you at Point Lobos, Monastery Beach and Big Sur. A hot tub, with amazing ocean views, is available. Well-behaved pets are welcome with an additional fee. We have a fenced area for pets.
