Centrally located and conveniently close to all the north Lake Tahoe and Donner Summit ski resorts. Near Sugar Bowl, Northstar, Squaw Valley, Boreal Ridge, Royal Gorge, Alpine Meadows, Soda Springs, Tahoe Donner, Homewood and Donner Ski Ranch. For fabulous winter recreation. The spectacular view of Donner Lake and mountains from the living room, the dining, the kitchen and the large deck fronting the home is very inviting. At the 6,000 foot elevation surrounded by mountains over 8,000 feet. The home has a beamed ceiling in the living room, dining room and kitchen. The decor is early American with maple and pine woods used throughout. Donner Lake Vacation Cabin Rental Lodging sleeps six, with three bedrooms, two queen beds and two twin beds. An old chair-lift from Squaw Valley hangs between two pine trees. There are many Jeffery Pine trees on the property and the undeveloped adjacent lot that we own. Huge glacial boulders surround the home having been deposited there from ancient glaciers from Donner Summit. 190 miles from San Francisco to Truckee via I-80. 35 minutes to Reno. 20 minutes to North Lake Tahoe. The house is located across the road from Donner Lake, at the east end of the lake. Easy access to I-80 Freeway, 0.7 miles to the east. 6,000 foot elevation. Convenient to shopping and restaurants in historic downtown Truckee (5 minutes away) and Gateway shopping centers. Close to Safeway, Save Mart Supermarket, Longs and Rite Aid.
