We listened to seals bark, as well listening to patriotic music from the naval shipyard play as they raised the flag. The duplex was well stocked, very comfortable, and had a great view. "Lisa,The cottage was a perfect "home away from home". Anything we needed was right there. We packed light, so the laundry facilities were a "must have".The entire place was clean and neat, decorated very nicely. The beds were comfortable. The view was spectacular! The wireless internet was a great way to keep a daily vacation blog for our friends and family back home; we uploaded pictures in an instant. I have recommended this place to all of my friends and family who may be interested in visiting the area. "We were absolutely delighted with Lisa's Port Orchard cottage. It was warm, cozy, nicely decorated with comfortable pleasing furnishings. The view of Puget Sound was a constant pleasure, rain, shine or fog. We especially enjoyed watching the passenger ferries cross in front of our view as we dined. It was easy to get to and around Port Orchard as well as to other quaint waterfront towns around. We stayed a full month while helping our son build his home and were really pleased to have a place of our own to spend our time while not at work. We have rescheduled for another month in February we enjoyed our accommodation so much. We felt that the representation of what we were signing up for through the internet was good.  "Lisa's condo is conveniently located, tastefully decorated, fully outfitted, roomy with excellent views of the sound. We enjoyed our stay in her place and wouldn't hesitate to rent again if we are in WA in the future. Lisa provided some meal recommendations which we found to be excellent.. Tides Tavern and Silverdale Brewery were among the ones we tried. Not on her list but very good was the East West Cafe near the Tacoma Mall and Hansen's in downtown Tacoma.. and if you like wine, drive to Port Angeles to the Olympic Cellar's.. excellent! the drive was gorgous too! In between all of the eating, we managed a Sonics game (Bulls won yea!), a visit to the Boeing Museum, and a day on the slopes at Crystal Mountain. "Folks, if you're looking for a Clean, welcoming place to lay your head this is a great property. Fully equipped, nice deck, wonderful landscaping and a terrific water view. Laundry facilities right there, the owner truly goes the extra mile to make sure that you're comfortable. Wireless internet, we never missed an email. Telephone was available so we weren't eating up those cell minutes. We were a party of four, 2 adults, and two teenagers, and never ran out of hot water. Bottom line folks, we were very skeptical about renting a property online. But it was a wonderful experience and these folks are great to do business with.
