If you want to visit the southern coast of Sicily, the town of Sciacca Terme is situated in the middle of the ancient Greek temples itinerary (Agrigento, Selinunte), but even not far from Palermo.
If you want a self catering accommodation I can offer you a spectacular view of Mediterranean sea. Montalbano House is on the main beach of Sciacca, Cape San Marco, 30 meters from sea water (32,82 yards). It¹s composed of two little buildings, separated by a private patio.
In the first building, nearest to beach, you will find a little room for washing machine, a kitchen corner and a living room with a comfortable double sofa-bed; in the second one there are a bathroom with a shower and a bed room, with air conditioned, a double bed (plus another bed, if necessary). There is a second shower in the patio: this one doesn¹t work with hot water but it¹s very useful in summer.
Montalbano House has been renovated this year and it can accommodate from 1 to 5 people. Rooms are cooled by electric fans in summer and heated by electric heater in winter. Bed linen, towels, tea cloths, washing up liquid, washing powder, softener and toilet rolls are also provided. To start you off, you will find a complimentary basket of essentials such as jam, cheese, butter, milk, coffee, tea, buns, orange juice, salt and pepper, organic olive oil, fruit, bread, buns and water. Parking is free.

Sciacca is a picturesque seaside town built on rocky heights that overlook the splendid beaches and the Mediterranean Sea midway between Marsala and Agrigento. Sciacca is noted mostly for its beautiful beaches, its numerous artisan shops specialized in ceramic ware, and its Thermal Spa complex. The town of Sciacca a perfect place to visit a lot of archaeological sites: it is a 30-minute drive east from Selinunte and its temples and less than an hour's drive west from Agrigento and Segesta. In the same way you can visit from here a lot of natural reserves.
You can easily reach Sciacca from Palermo airport, you need just 1 hour and 15 minutes by car.
Sciacca is 5 kilometres far (3,107 miles).
Beach access, within few minutes drive you will find restaurants, pubs, banks, supermarkets, post office, hairdressers, cinemas, museum, churches and other visitor attractions.
