The quiet locations was wonderful- a feature that is extremely important to me. A rental home is so much more relaxing than a hotel room. Although we ate dinner out almost every night, having a meal on your own is also a great option. The home itself was incredibly clean and well organized. The binder was a dream resource. Even though I have been to the Big Island twice before, I found the suggestions very helpful, especially for snorkelling. The Big Island has so much to offer. We too spent a day on the Hilo side. After all of our hiking & snorkelling, we thoroughly enjoyed getting one of those cabanas at the Fairmont Orchid for our last day.
