This lovely cottage, nestled on 4 wooded acres, is located just 1 mile from the village and eight miles from skiing. Interior decorator Wendy Valliere's inspiration for this little gem (originally her own ski cottage) was that of a Bavarian ski lodge. Decorated with Black Forest and French antiques, hand loomed rugs, and lush draperies, this Stowe cabin does indeed transport the visitor to the Austrian alps. The piping hot wood stove and the chiming cuckoo clock makes this Stowe vacation rental a cozy retreat after a day of hiking or skiing. The master suite has an antique four poster bed, complete with custom bedding, and a sitting alcove with a sleeper sofa. The sleeping loft has a full size bed. There are also 2 decks and a barbeque grill, washer dryer, fully equipped kitchen and a shed for ski storage.
