"Working with the owner, Irene, was easy and pleasurable. She always responded to my e-mails quickly and in great detail. I sent the 50% deposit via Western Union and handled everything else, in USD cash, upon arrival. Irene was very helpful in many ways. The apartment is in excellent condition and included A/C, a computer with internet, ample closet space, etc. I had breakfast every morning just 3 minutes away from the apartment at a corner cafe. The bank ATMs I used were a 5 minute walk from the apartment. There was an all-you-can eat restaurant that cost something like R$15 per person for dinner. Excellent food. I felt very safe in the apartment building. I walked around the neighborhood and to the beach many, many times. If going further distances (such as to the mall, airport or another district) I took a taxi. A perfect choice for staying in Copacabana! Very convenient and an excellent value. "I cannot say enough about what a wonderful stay myself and my fiancee had at this particular Flat. The Management was not only extremely professional but accommodating to our needs during the entire stay in Rio De Janeiro. The Flat itself is stylish and comfortable but, most importantly, very CLEAN and SAFE!! There were many perks provided that made us feel very relaxed and comfortable in Rio as if we lived there (we could dream). It was also close to all neighborhoods, tourist attractions, and central to Copacabana making it an ideal location. Transportation-wise the buses are either across the street or a block away on Rua NS Copacabana. The Metro is a few blocks away as well. "I stayed in this apartment for 19 days and it was fabulous, definitely my best experience with a place to stay in my 6 trips to Rio. Not only was the apartment spotless upon arrival (just like in the photos), but it was also a really pleasant place to stay. The management is professional, courteous and willing to work with you to make sure your stay is the best it can be. The location of the apartment is perfect. The bus to Ipanema or Leblon or Gavea is right across the street and comes every 3-5 minutes. The metro is a 5-10 minute walk, and its extremely easy to get a cab. And the part of Copacabana that the apartment is in is really nice, a neighborhood where Brazilians live only 4 blocks from perhaps the most beautiful beachfront promenade in the world. Plus the guide to the area provided with the apartment really does help, even if you´ve been to Rio lots of times, and the places suggested are all small businesses for the most part.
