Dolphins Dance is a lovely end unit townhouse located in the Barrier Dunes complex which is on the beach on Cape San Blas and very close to the St. Joe's Peninsula state park entrance. The townhouse has a gulf view and is only a minute from the beach and equally close to both outdoor pools, the tennis courts and the playground. It is one of the most private townhouses in the complex, backing right on a small lake which has fish, turtles and other wildlife. The lower deck off the living room is covered and has a gas Bar-B-Q. The large upper deck is open to the sky and also overlooks the lake. Both are totally private. The upper balcony off the master bedroom has the gulf view. Our home is very well appointed and equipped and it was built in 2001. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, plates, glasses, pots and pans and of course a microwave and dishwasher. The lovely downstairs entertainment unit has a 32 inch TV and DVD player and VHS player, along with a selection of DVD and VHS movies, books and games for children. The unit comes equipped with beach chairs and toys. Dolphins Dance has room to park three cars or two cars and a boat. Dolphins Dance also has a washer and dryer and FREE wireless Internet.
Cape San Blas in Florida's Panhandle is an uncrowded, pristine white sand beach stretching for miles. This beach has been rated number 1 in the country by Dr. Stephen Leatherman in 2002 and the most popular beach for dogs in 2006! Between the Cape and the mainland is a beautiful bay with excellent fishing and wildlife viewing opportunities. Nearby are two interesting towns, Port St. Joe and Appalachicola with great dining and shopping possibilities. The St. Joseph Peninsula State Park right next door offers many opportunities to hike, bicycle, nature and bird watch, walk the beach, swim, camp and picnic. The area is largely unspoiled but accessible. Nearby you will find scuba diving, canoe and kayak rentals, deep sea fishing, whale watching, golfing and other fun things to do.

Barrier Dunes is super pet friendly with pet clean up stations. Dogs are always allowed on the beach. There are two outdoor pools - one right on the beach and the other right by the tennis courts. The pool by the tennis courts is now heated. There is also a children's playground. The community is gated and secure and is very family oriented. There is no busy highway nearby.

Barrier Dunes is located a short drive away from the two charming towns of Port St. Joe and Apalachicola. Both have a variety of shops and local restaurants, many of which specialize in great seafood. The area is full of activity opportunities, including deep sea fishing, sailing, scuba diving, canoing, kayaking, horseback riding on the beach, nature viewing and hiking. Panama City is about an hour away.
