If you were any closer to the waves you'd be wet. Breakwater Bungalow is a two bedroom corner cottage unit that occupies the upper level. This condo sleeps 6 comfortably with a queen bed in the master, a twin daybed and a full convertible sofa in the guest bedroom, and a queen sleeper sofa in the family room. This beach rental is just one building back from the Strand and the family and surfer action on the beach.
There is a great new built in tile bar for you to enjoy morning coffee and check out the surf or to watch a glorious sunset. To keep you warm in the evenings there is a gas fireplace. This 2 bedroom / 2 bath beach rental was painted top to bottom in December 2007, and it was carpeted with a nice new carpet as well. It is well maintained and always clean.
The owner of Breakwater Bungalow is an artist and you get to enjoy the beachy but modern decor. You will know you are at the beach the moment you walk in and feel the great ocean breezes and hear the sound of waves. You can practically smell the suntan lotion you are so close to the beach. This is a perfect spot for family reunions and for putting up extended family, instead of a hotel. This North Coast Village condo is in the "A" complex which tends to be a little quieter overall from the bustling larger "B-G" complex across Breakwater Way. This complex has it's own central courtyard area with ocean view barbecues, heated lap and recreational pool (much warmer than the main pool in winter), and jacuzzi. There are also laundry facilities, underground assigned parking for two, and a ping pong room on site.
All of our beach rentals now offer wireless high speed internet, boogie boards, beach chairs, full kitchens, linens, and beach towels. This condo also offers a portable crib (pack n play style) for little ones. Sleeps and seats 6 comfortably. Cable TV in family room and both bedrooms.
