For a Vacation Where You Can Feel Like You Own the World USA/North Carolina/Wilkesboro 2 bedroom, 2 bath vacation cabin sleeps 6 Located just 6.5 miles from Wilkesboro and 20 minutes from Boone, this charming log home sits in the middle of 18 acres (protected by gated access), and offers something for everyone. You can sit in the rockers on the covered porch or at the picnic table on the wraparound deck and watch the river as it flows lazily by and take in the great mountain views at the same time. There are deer that come in the yard almost daily to feed at the deer feeders provided graciously the owners of the property. Or, venture down to the river and fish, canoe or tube to your heart�s desire. There are also numerous hiking trails and two small streams on the property for the adventurous. (Sorry, no hunting allowed). Inside, the beautiful log home offers nice furnishings and is tastefully decorated in antiques while offering modern appeal as well. The main level offers a great room with high beamed ceilings, a stone wood-burning fireplace with plenty of wood on-hand for roasting marshmallows by the fire, and Satellite TV/DVD. There's a large dining table and spacious kitchen where you can prepare anything from a snack to a full family dinner, and the dishwasher makes cleanup a breeze. The master bedroom offers a comfortable queen bed, Satellite TV and it own full bath. Upstairs, the large loft area provides two more queen beds. The basement of the cabin is only partially finished but does provide another bath and queen bed, if needed. With central heat and air conditioning, you're sure to enjoy this cabin year-round.
